I’m Back (and Here’s What I’ve Been Building)

If you’re reading this, you probably noticed something... The website is back and not just back...rebuilt.
After being offline for a little over a year, this site is now live again with an entirely new structure, a clearer direction, and a much more intentional plan behind it. And yeah, that time away probably raised some questions, so I want to explain what’s been going on, what’s changing, and what’s coming next.
Short version: I didn’t disappear. I was rebuilding everything.
So… What Happened?
The past year has been a mix of life, holidays, nonstop work, and, if I’m being honest, some serious burnout. Between trying to juggle content creation, personal goals, family, full time Job, and everything else that comes with adult life, I hit a point where I knew I had to slow down and reset.
For a long time, I was just pushing through. Posting when I could, fixing things as they broke, duct-taping systems together, and telling myself I’d “figure it out later.” Eventually, later came, and I was exhausted.
Instead of forcing content and burning myself into the ground, I decided to do something different. I stepped back and rebuilt the foundation of everything i plan on building or being a part of... Even some things I'm not mentioning here just yet.
Not because I wanted to stop but because I wanted to come back stronger, more organized, and in a way that wouldn’t destroy my mental health.
What I’ve Been Working On Behind the Scenes
A lot of what I did this past year wasn’t visible—and that’s kind of the point.
I spent that time rebuilding everything that supports the content:
Reworking the entire website structure so it actually makes sense
Designing a long-term content system instead of improvising everything
Building servers, tools, and dashboards to manage projects more efficiently
Creating a real content pipeline (planning → filming → editing → publishing → archiving)
Organizing workflows so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel every week
Automating the boring stuff so I can focus on the creative stuff
Before this, everything lived in my head. Now it lives in systems.
That may sound nerdy, but it matters. These changes are what make consistency possible. They’re what let me create without constantly feeling overwhelmed. They’re what allow me to build multiple projects without everything collapsing.
This wasn’t about disappearing. It was about making sure when I came back, I could stay.
What Each Project Is Becoming
One of the biggest changes is that everything now has a clearer purpose. Each project has its own lane, its own audience, and its own reason for existing. ( A.K.A - Infinity HQ )
GreaseMonkey89
This is my gaming and casual content streams, funny moments, chaotic nights with randoms, community hangouts, and just enjoying games again, doing whatever we feel like and the best part, I’m officially coming back this week after a month and a half pause.
That break wasn’t random; it was necessary. I was burned out, trying to juggle too much, and I needed to fix the backend of everything before hitting “go” again.
This time around, the goal is simple. Have fun, be consistent, don’t burn out.
New schedule:
Monday & Tuesday nights, plus either Wednesday or Saturday Starting around 9–9:30 PM EST
It’s more relaxed, more realistic, and way healthier.
RC Overload
RC Overload is coming back later this year! I promise! Trust me i keep kicking myself in the ass for stringing you guys along. IT wasnt planned to be like that at all, but we all know plans don't always hold true. Honestly, this return took way longer than I ever expected and truthfully, I didn’t expect it to be this difficult. Between the goal of owning a home, actually maintaining one, supporting a family, and just surviving real life financially, it became harder and harder to justify studio and gear investments.
This channel has always meant a lot to me, which made stepping away even harder.
It’s still difficult. But I’m trying. The studio is being rebuilt, the plans are being refined, and the goal is to bring RC Overload back in a way that’s sustainable, not rushed, not forced, and not at the cost of everything else in my life.
HTG Labs
HTG Labs will also be launching later this year. This will be my tech focused space, gear and gadget reviews, repairs, experiments, breakdowns, learning projects, and deep dives into how things actually work tech wise. Less polished, more curious. More “let’s figure this out together.”
Right now, I’m focusing on setting up the platforms for it, dialing in the content plan, and making sure it launches with purpose instead of chaos. No rushing. No half launches.
162 Media Productions (The Business)
162 Media Productions is now my long-term business focus.
This is where I help others with:
Websites
Branding
Content strategy
Creative systems
Digital presence
Not corporate fluff. Real, practical help. I’ve spent years learning this stuff the hard way through trial, error, burnout, rebuilds, and experiments. Now I’m packaging that experience into something useful for others. There is still so much I need to learn and do in order to be the best that i can be. For now, it's a start... Taking what I've learned and helping others along the way.
This isn’t about becoming an agency. It’s about helping people build smarter, not harder. Something that took a long time for me to figure out.
162 Media (The Content Side)
This is where I’ll be sharing how I actually do all of this. Tutorials, workflows, behind the scenes looks, experiments, breakdowns of tools, and explanations of how I build systems so you can do it too. No guru nonsense. No fake perfection. Just real processes, real mistakes, and real solutions. If I figure something out, I’ll show you how to.
Why This All Matters & What’s Coming Next!
This rebuild wasn’t about stepping away. It was about stepping up and putting a dream of mine in motion. I didn’t want to keep posting just to post either. I wanted to create something that actually works long-term without destroying my mental health. IF im being completely honest, it still needs a lot of work. But the best part is that all of you will get to be a part of this journey and see just how I build my future, along with helping and entertaining yours.
So now:
The website is back!
The structure makes sense
Each project has a role
The systems are built
The burnout is being managed
And I’m genuinely excited again
Not pressured.Not stressed.Excited.
Over the next few weeks and months, you’ll start seeing:
GreaseMonkey89 streams and content again
Website updates and new posts
The slow return of RC Overload
The setup phase for HTG Labs
Tutorials and behind-the-scenes from 162 Media
This isn’t a massive launch announcement. It’s just me saying.
I’m back. I’m building smarter... And I’m here for the long run.
Thanks for sticking around and being a part of my journey since 2013!
